Lol, Showgirls. Never saw that one either. I bought Chicago thinking it was a gangster film. They was the most singingest gangsters I've ever seen - ok, I fast fwd'd most of it. Still, that was GawdAwful!!! lol

most disturbing movie scene you've seen?
by knock knock ini haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?
to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).
i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

Bryan,I've not seen Reservoir Dogs, only references to it but nothing in depth.
FHN, interesting, my brother said definitely "that scene in Deliverance..." I'm guessing you mean "that scene" too. Me, I'm not a big banjo fan. lol
A friend long ago was, I'm told, absolutely freaking terrified after going to see American Werewolf In London. Said he was terrified that demons were coming after him and couldn't sleep for days. And here I thought it was just a hokey horror film. -

So what's yours (not counting your home movies)? It's not the Abbot and Costello - Who's On First routine is it?? -

Can't resist a kitty thread. This guy is a climber. He's a few months older now and still chases drumsticks in motion by jumping from drum to drum. The other thing he does that I think is cool is that he has a small catnip toy that he deposits in his food dish while he eats. Kind of like a kid with a baseball glove. lol

ANTI-Witnessing: "Bold" JW cuts and runs
by Nathan Natas ina week or so ago my friend danny haszard informed me of a website that was permitting discussion of the jws and their blood worshipping idolatry (my terms, not theirs).
i was in a mood fit for a fight, so i thought i'd participate.. i think i made some valid points and offered some good counter-arguments.. so today i was notified of a new post in that thread:.

Do you sometimes wish there was an iggy button here?
by mrsjones5 inwhen i used to chat on yahoo if someone was annoying or harassing there was an option to ignore that person.
you could still see that the person was in the room but you didn't have to read anything they said.
every once in a while i wish that option was here too.. josie.

Movie Title question - Making a sandwich while in the market
by VM44 ini am trying to find the title of a movie i saw many many years ago.
perhaps some here might recognize this scene from it.. a man is shown walking up and down the aisles of a grocery market.
he is shown opening a package of bread and taking a couple of slices out of it.

Don't remember the movie scene but I saw my uncle do that sometimes. Mostly he was after the grapes and candy though. Got hold of some small dark red HOT peppers one day and that pretty well broke him of the habit. lol

Hey Purps...Thank YOU! I've looked at a few BR videos on youtube but I hadn't seen that one. Unreal. I used to love to catch him on The Tonight Show with that Carson guy. Buddy was a human dynamo, an egotistical SOB and a very funny guy!
Rich was on Carson's show once and his daughter had just given birth so that was a prime topic. When it came time for Rich to go play, Doc Severenson yells out "Come on Gramps, play dem drums!" Guess ya had to see it. :) -

There are so many fantastically amazing drummers out there these days. I ran across this video sometime back and I think it's pretty damn amazing - AND entertaining.

re: Mr. Peart. I saw a drum clinic with Terry Bozzio and someone asked him what he thought of Neil's drumming. He kind of hesitated and then said that he loved Neil but come on man, COUNT. Guess ya had to be there.
